IGNACIO ANANÍAS ZAROR
Bachelor of Legal and Social Sciences from Universidad de Chile’s Law School (2013), where he graduated with greatest honors, and Master in Criminal Law from Universidad Pompeu Fabra and Universidad de Barcelona (2019).
He started his professional career as an external legal advisor of the Ministry of Economy (Ministerio de Economía) (2011). He later joined as an associate lawyer at Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana (2012-2013). Then, he worked at Bofill Escobar (2013-2018).
In the educational area, he has been a lecturer in several courses of Criminal Law at the School of Law of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (since 2012). He previously worked as research assistant for Universidad de Chile’s Master’s Programs in Criminal Law (2012).
Among others, he is the author of “Comiso de ganancias”, Revista de Estudios de la Justicia - N° 21, año 2014 and “Prohibición de regreso”, Revista de Estudios de la Justicia - N° 13, año 2010. He has advised the Ministry of Justice (Ministerio de Justicia) and the Senators Chamber of Chile in the proceedings for bills about Criminal Law.His professional career is focused on criminal, civil and commercial proceedings.
He is member of Colegio de Abogados de Chile A.G. (Chilean Bar Association A.G.).
