CAROLINA SEPÚLVEDA VARELA
Bachelor of Legal and Social Sciences from the Faculty of Law at the University of Chile (2021), graduating with highest honors. Master's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Oxford (2023). Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Current Issues in Civil Liability (2021) and a Diploma in Economic and Corporate Criminal Law (2022), both from the Faculty of Law at the University of Chile.
She began her professional career as a paralegal in the criminal litigation team at Claro y Cía law firm (2017), and later as a paralegal in the area of international arbitration at Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana (2018). Subsequently, she joined as an associate attorney at Bascuñán Barra Awad Contreras Schürmann (2021-2022), becoming part of the López Escobar del Río team in 2023.
In the academic field, between 2018 and 2022, she served as a teaching assistant at the University of Chile in various courses on Criminal Law and Civil Law, also contributing to the Women and Criminal Justice Diploma Program (2019-2020).
